Never a Dull Moment at ISU

This has definitely been the most memorable ISU trip ever. In fact, I could see this being one of the most memorable weekends period...

My Friday night began at 5, when I went out w/ work people for Melissa's birthday. Seriously, these people can drink; I think most of them were wasted by the time I left at 8. Nikki and I drove up to ISU to meet Brittany, Dow, Doug, and Dan. The bars were typical. I ran into Mark, Deebze, Ryan, and Carrie at Mulligans. Ryan was all over me, and I think it was mostly to piss of Carrie (they recently broke up & he found out that night that she had made out w/ Mark to piss of Ryan--- score one more asshole point for Mark). O- and Evan payed $25 for a limo to go pick up Dow & Doug from his apt.

Eventually we all left and went to Club 110. So I don't know if this bar has changed, or if I just wasn't that drunk last night, or if I'm actually growing up a little, but 110 was actually pretty gay. Anyways, Nikki and I got separated from everyone but Deebze. So, while I was calling the boys and looking for a cab, Josh says, "Look there is a fight." Then Nikki says, "o god, evan just hit the ground."

The next thing I know, Dow had grabbed Evan and Doug out of the middle of the fight and was trying to get them away. Doug was extremely pissed and determined to fight these guys that apparently attacked him while he was talking shit to one. Evan tried to restrain Doug and Doug knocked them both to the ground. While they were wrestling on the ground, the cops pulled up. So I yelled at them both to get up and explained to the cop that they were friends & one is trying to keep the other from fighting those guys. The cop asked if we had it under control, and told us to get them home after I said we did.

Doug woke up with a black, swollen eye and cuts on his arm. He then called his mom, bc she was meeting him for lunch and proceeded to tell her that he was jumped the night before, but that everything was ok except that the bars were really smokey. His mom asked what he was talking about and he told her he was still wasted. Classic Doug quote. Evan's temple was also throbbing and I hear they are now going to press charges.


So, day 2 began after only 4 hours of sleep for everyone. Everybody went to lunch at Mings but me, bc I had a really bad headache. After lunch, Dow, Dan, Sturdy, Layne, Britt, & me walked to the park to play basketball. Unfortunately, I sprained my ankle after only about 15 min of playing. This injury cause team Terror Squad to lose. Not long after this, Dow began complaining of itching. Then he broke out in hives and realized that he must have eaten something w/ shellfish in it at Mings.

We all went to the hospital and Dow was given medicine and placed on IV's. While in the waiting room, I realized that my ankle is now the size of a baseball. Bryan was allowed to go back in Dow's room, and he said that Dow said he wanted to still go out tonight. Dan of course is playing the father role and insisting we're not going out tonight.

Currently, Layne, Britt, Bryan and me are getting ready for the night, while Dow, Dan, & Evan are still at the hospital. Sturdy is a little afraid of Dan's wrath when he sees we are dressed to impress, but we're tellig him not to worry. Britt is currently worried about her safety, as well as Layne & Sturdy's since nothing has happened to them yet. Maybe they'll get shot by the gang bangers that live behind Layne-- Britt just yelled at them bc they're sitting right outside Layne's window. So, tonight could be very interesting as well....
