So last weekend I decided to go to U of I Friday night around 5:30, when Nikki said she was coming to pick me up. Kate drove the 3 of us up there in her mom's BMW named Nelly. Well, around Macon, Nelly started to run low on gas, but it told exactly how many miles further we could go. Allison (the girl who lives in Champaign) and I assured Kate that we could make it there w/o stopping on the way. I'm sure everyone can guess where the story goes from here.
Nelly lied and died on the Prospect exit ramp. Kate was a little worried that it may not be just the gas, but Nikki, being the expert at running out of gas that she is, assured us that this was how cars work that run out of gas. So Allison came and picked us up. Nikki filled up the gas can, and managed to pour gas all over herself. So, she smelled for the rest of the night (actually, I couldn't smell her, but Kate claimed she could).
the rest of the night was pretty uneventful. Well, except that Nikki became convinced that I was out to steal her man and basically caused a scene until I told her she was being retarded and let her know what we were actually talking about. The next day, the guy (he stayed at our place w/ Nikki) called me a homewrecker. It was pretty funny.
Saturday night I went to The Loop. Sturdy, Layne, and Britt all came over to Dow's and then we went to a SLU bar that only cost $10 for all you could drink till 1 am (that's a great deal). O, Dow ended up driving b/c there are apparently no cabs in st. Louis that can seat 5 people, and the companies don't fell obligated to call their customers back to let them know this. I suppose the night was pretty typical for when the 5 of us hang out.
Sunday, I went shopping and bought a new suit and a pair of pants for $115. What a deal!!! And no, I don't' have the money, but who can pass that up.
on the way home I got pulled over for doing 70 in a 65. Seriously. WTF. And the cop was very rude b/c I still don't have a drivers license. Who cares. Do they have nothing better to do? Aren't there real criminals out there?

You don't HAVE a licence? I thought you just left it at home. Why haven't you gotten one yet? And why is it that I have yet to experience the much talked about "buffet" style bar? I have had so many fortunate friends tell the tales and still have not experienced this glorious adventure =( I NEED TWO SHOTS OF TEQUILA AND A BEER!
no- i never replaced it. it never seemed like a high priority since i have my state ID for the bars.
shots are not included in the buffet, but well drinks are. it is still a very nice deal.
