Directions

ok, so maybe i'm not the best at giving directions. i've been known to have gotten lost a few major times, but i always kinda blamed that on the person driving (not naming any names) or on being hungover or something.

today though, i have no one to blame but myself and mapquest. it took me 2 hours to get to Petersburg and back today. mapquest had me take little country roads that weren't labeled, so that took awhile. and then i decided to try and take my own way back and ended up going the wrong direction on 97 for 15 min. when i stopped in some podunk town, the men in the auto place just laughed and said, "darlin', you're a long ways from home."

to be honest, this isn't the first time i've gotten lost either. marc likes to make fun of me for getting us lost several times. well not lost exactly--- i knew what street i wanted and how i should be able to get there, but damn springfield for only having random blocks connect to each other in the ghetto sections of the east side. besides, marc didn't know which ones connected either so i wasn't that bad. i am, however, ever so slowly becoming an expert on the finer sides of springfield.

why didn't you call me for directions. I only drive there all the time since mike is from there. Or you could have called mike and asked him. that would have been funny.

haha. i actually really almost called both of you on my way back b/c i thought i was lost (which obviously i was), but of course fabulous sprint doesn't provide coverage when u need it most.

that would be a great add campaign for the first cell company that actually comes out w/ nation wide coverage that is seriously nation wide. "sprint, there when you need us most."
