Pubs & Clubs
check out the site I found today at work for Pubs & Clubs. i found it while actually doing work--- Dave wants me to start workign w/ more bars.

marty, you should give me a list of all the owners' names so i can get them to advertise w/ me on WQLZ. do u work for the IL Times, or did u just do the site for fun? it's awesome either way.

The Springfield Pubs and Clubs Web site was originally completed as part of my Master's Degree project at UIS. I've since put it online in hopes of creating a small business venture. No, I do not work for Illinois Times. They simply gave me permission to link to their site in order to provide an updated calendar link for Pubs and Clubs.
I take it that you are a sales rep for WQLZ. As far as giving out a list of owners and contact people, I would much rather talk to you in person about such details rather than communicating through blogs. So if you did this as part of your masters at UIS what was your degree in?

My Master's Degree at UIS was in Communication. UIS has since posted a link to Springfield Pubs and Clubs on the school's website.

yes i've emailed marty. actually, i think a couple of times. he informed me a litte more of who the site is associated w/ and how it got started. but, i haven't talked to him in awhile and my whole bar thing isn't going so well, b/c bar owners don't really like WQLZ. and to be honest, i'm not sure i blame most of them.
