I am seriously exhausted. I think I have to stay home and rest next weekend, or I might die. Parts of the weekend were awesome, and others were just plain trying. After Thursday night though, I should've been prepared for an interesting weekend. I have to admit that I thought my drama w/ Nikki might actually end, but I was proven wrong after our phone convo tonight. I think I might just take a break from hanging out w/ her for awhile.
Back to the good stuff. Amy's wedding was a lot of fun. We showed up just in time for the ceremony, so we were sat in the very front of the church behind the bridal party. It was kinda awkward up there since everyone could see us (probly not so good when Jesse made spirit fingers at the couple). After the wedding, we went to the Blue Sky Vineyard, which is owned by Jesse's dad. The whole place is gorgeous and I really want to make it to their grand opening in August. The reception was fun, but it was a little odd b/c they put the bar in the hallway as opposed to the actual reception room. Needless to say, we spent very little time in the ballroom. Nothing too dramatic happened, but I really hoped Krystal would say something bitchy to Corey (long story there). The reception ended at 10 and everyone headed out to the bars. Well, everyone but me headed out. I fell asleep instead, which I'm kinda glad about. As bad as I feel now, I can't imagine how I much worse I would feel if I had gone out.
I'm really happy for Amy and Jon. They seem so perfect together. I know they fight and have their disagreements like everyone else, but they still manage to make it work. I hope that some day I find that perfect person too. Actually, I hope we all do.
Side Note: Jesse bought a breathalizer and now they all constantly check themselves to see where they are at. Not to be safe for driving, but just for kicks.
