The coolest thing happened this weekend in Chicago: I saw a man peeing on the side of the street in broad daylight. I kid you not. I'm funny.

I’m afraid to admit that one of the only things that I truly regret from the last year is making fun of Corey for being Queen of the Dorks. I fear that in a few short weeks, I will claim that title even more so than she did. As Tim said, “the kids at Northwestern are too damn smart for there own good.” After taking the undergraduate tour, I fear that this statement was very profound and wise. I know that if I had taken that tour four years ago, I definitely wouldn’t have gone there for undergrad. However, since we are now talking about grad school, I feel it is time to grow up and go to a school I wouldn’t have considered at one time. Besides, maybe I will meet my future husband. I suspect he will be both rich and smart. Let’s hope that he is also interesting.

So, no apartment as of yet. Yes, I know this was the whole point of my trip. I thought that the whole thing would be much easier than it was. However, I came to the conclusion that I will definitely be paying an arm and a leg no matter what. FYI, the campus is absolutely gorgeous. They even have a beach on it, along with bike trails and a Shakespearean garden. I guess that’s what $30,000 in tuition will buy ya. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that there are many bars near campus, but maybe I just didn’t explore enough.
