Well, I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed no one entered my contest. O well, at least I don't have to make a trophy. And, I decided not to post my story afterall. Yes, I know everyone has embarrassing family stories, but I rememberred just how many people read this damn thing and i changed my mind. Basically, my mom has a new boyfriend who is pretty cool, my uncle's girlfriend who is pregnant came to dinner, and my other uncle brought his crazy boyfriend home. Thus, dinner was fabulous, and, really, the rest of my break was too. I went out a decent amount, even if I didn't drink very much (Thanksgiving evening was an acception of course). It was good to see everyone and I hope everyone will email me their pics (I really hate not having a camera).
I'm finally in my last week of school for the quarter! I don't really think I like the whole quarter system though; everything goes by to quickly. So, we're celebrating my birthday next weekend. I'm not particularly sure which day b/c Allyson may be coming up to celebrate her birthday on the 9th. I hope she does, b/c that will make it more likely for everyone else to come up. Everyone is welcome to crash at our place; the more the merrier. In all reality, I'm sure it will just be us Chicago kids. And, in all reality, I imagine I'll go out for many days in a row since I'm done w/ school next wed and it's possible I'll be spent by my actual birthday.
Alright I have to take off. Studying calls. I may not post for awhile either.
p.s. I'm planning on being here for new years too, but I haven't bought a ticket to Doug's idea yet. It's hard to get myself to fork over $150 for one night when that should really be my drinking budget for a whole month (even though I don't realistically follow that either).

Sorry I didn't post a Tgiving story. It was all business as usual for me that weekend just a little more turkey then usual.
BUT!! If were're having a contest to decide who is most deserving to share your bed w/ you on Friday of your Bday celebration I am DEFINITELY the winner for that after the last two reasons of NOT getting to. Umm and I say we celebrate both nights 9th and 10th. AND, I hope you can make it to Duffy's at least for a little bit. I'm gonna get there at about 7:30 and be there all night....and can I spend the night at your and Kate's place that night?
I forgot to clarify what I was talking about. Duffy's is the bar where the party is this fri night that I told you abut. Hope you and your study budies can take a break for a bit.
yes, u are always welcome to crash at our house. also, i think i'm celebrating my brithday and finishing school for that entire week. but,for warning, Ms. Marrin may be staying at our house also on Friday the 9th b/c Allyson is most likely coming up to celebrate her birthday too. and, I promised to play nice if she wanted to come. funny how 2 weeks ago when i asked her to come up for my birthday she was making up every excuse not to come up here, but whatever.
Duffy's is a possibility for awhile, but i will have to check w/ Jen and Sean b/c they have me on a study schedule for the next week
funny how she makes every excuse in the book not to go up there. if i were permanently living in springfield i would flock to any chance i got to go somewhere else on the weekend. what was the post u removed?
o yeah and what's up with these letters on the word verification. for one, if there completely random, how come there's always an x, k, q, or u in them? and how come they're always so weird. i think they should take the word verification thing and turn it into a computer program for kids learning how to read. sometimes i, a 20 year old, struggle to make out what a letter is b/c the shape is so misconstrued/on a slant i really dont' know. maybe it's just me but i really had to look at this q a while before i figured out it wasnt an a.
