Who are these people??

Alright, even though I talked about this in my last post, I'm going to do it again. Seriously, the majority of the people in the IMC program are nuts. I think a lot of the problem though is that a lot of them don't have many friends here, so they feel the need to study all the time. I talked both of my groups into meeting yesterday so that I wouldn't have to travel to Evanston both days. Well, that plan didn't really hold up to well.

After 8 hours of group work on a Saturday, neeless to say I was ready to go out last night. Kate & I went to a "grown up" party with Doug and his roommate Nick. My favorite parts of the night was watching Doug get picked up by a guy (props to Doug b/c at least the guy was cute) and watching Nick make an ass of himself with a girl. After the party, Doug, Kate & I met a couple people from my school at Bar of Chicago. One of the girls was from Germany, and it was quite interesting to watch her reaction to the meet market we Americans refer to as clubs. We were out till about 3 I believe, and I was definitely quite drunk. All in all, this nights gets 4 out of 5 stars.

However, around 11 or 12 last night a group member of mine left me a voicemail informing me that I needed to meet our group at 10am this morning. Are you fucking kidding me. I mentioned numerous times that I was going out late last night, y on earth did they think I would meet at 10 when I have to commute for over an hour and I was out drinking all night. And, I didn't hear this message until 8 this morning. Whatever, I ended up going and being completely useless. For the majority of the day, I hurt really, really bad and honestly thought I might die. I'm guessing I wouldn't have felt so bad had I actually had more than 4 hours of sleep, but what can you do. Kate and I noticed today that hangovers seem to get worse and worse the older you get. Actually, I think Dow and I have talked about this too.

Well, I just finished the last of my homework that is due tomorrow, so I guess I'm off to bed.
