The Boot

Well, not too much has happened this week. Basically, all I've really done is study. However, I do have a slightly amusing story. So I got a parking ticket the other night. $50. I never imagined they would be that much. Anyway, I was telling Sean this and he told me that in his expert opinion, I could get up to 3 tickets and not pay them. However, after the 3rd I would get "the boot." Now I had never heard of a "boot" and found it surprising that your car can actually get locked to the curb because of outstanding parking tickets. And, you only have to have 3. I could be screwed. I decided to go ahead and pay the ticket. But, I was thinking, wouldn't it be kind of funny if I were to get 3 tickets and then send the car home, and then my mom might drive it to Chicago for work (she doesn't like to drive her car in Chicago b/c she doesn't want it to get dented) and come out of a meeting to find it with a boot. Of course she would be incredibly pissed at me, but I think it would be worth it.
