So, once again I find myself about a week away from New Years w/o any clue of what I'm doing. New Years always seems like one of those nights that gets all hyped up, yet always manages to fall short of expectations. Actually, now that I'm thinking of it, the past several years have been some pretty odd nights, and they probably weren't the best way to begin a new year. Hopefully this year will begin better. I guess I'm kind of superstitious when it comes to all of that. It would be really great if I could go the night w/o smoking, but I'm not really going to count on that one. I think I'm going to look for plans right now. I'll be sure to let every know if I find anything good. I wonder if Doug is doing that bar thing that he mentioned awhile ago?


On a side note, little Becca has been out of commission and will be for a couple more days. She got her tonsils out Tuesday afternoon. But, not to worry, she has still managed to talk. In all honesty, I don't think that girl could go 5 hours w/o talking, no matter how much pain she was in. Hopefully she feels well enough for our Christmas Eve dinner w/ my mom's boyfriend and his daughter. It just wouldn't be the same if I didn't have Becca there with me at her full capacity.
