To All of my Homies

Rolling through the hood, just stopped by to say what’s up.

It’s amazing how something as simple as a song can bring back so many memories. And, it’s amazing how someone can only be a part of your life for a short while but leave such a lasting impact. Right now I’m listening to R Kelly’s “I Wish” (which I didn’t even know I had) and I’m reminded of freshman year, dorm parties, & of course Ghetto Pam. That girl was seriously awesome. And, I have her to thank for my love of black men and black music. I wish me and Core had made a trip down to Texas to visit her. Really, I wish she hadn't ever moved but thats not realistic. O well, at least I have a lot of great memories.

u should call her...if u still have the #

rap songs do bring back memories especially of freshman year. as i recall the first time i heard "to the window, to the wall til the sweat drops down to my balls" i was outside getting a cup of beer refilled via the window at the second sweatiest house party in carbondale. then charlene knocked over the beer while crip walking.
