It seems like whenever I’ve had a pretty good weekend, I really can’t seem to find the time to write about it. On a relative scale, this weekend was pretty good. I went bowling Friday night with a bunch of people from school. In all honesty, I didn’t really want to go b/c I don’t like bowling and I wanted to meet other people that night, but Jen made Sean and I feel guilty enough that we both went. And, Sean decided that we should grab drinks beforehand otherwise we would both end up bailing (which is most likely what would’ve happened). After bowling the three of us met some classmates at another bar. However, I decided to leave as soon as we got to the bar b/c I hate one of the girls that was there (hate, as in I want to punch her every time I see her). If she didn’t know how I felt before, I’m sure my feelings were made quite clear that night. O well, I probably would’ve gotten in a fight w/ her at some point either way.
Saturday I was hungover but had to travel to Evanston for a damn meeting about the beer industry. Side note: everyone should leave me his or her thoughts on the beer industry wanting to increase sales b/c I think it’s retarded. Anyways, I skipped out of studying that afternoon to take a nap, but then Jen called me on my way home to meet her at Casey Moran’s. I decided to meet her for lunch, and after an hour or so I decided to join her & Nikki in drinking. Several hours later we all went home with the intentions of meeting back up around 8 after showerring, but I really didn’t expect any of the others to make it out. Apparently I didn’t place enough faith in the others b/c they were actually ready before Kate & I. Most of the night was pretty uneventful, but I did manage to leave with one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Some short little old man (old as in 75+ and short as in 5 ft.) was dancing with some younger women. And, the man was actually dancing. Well, maybe it would more accurately be called humping. Anyway, that girl eventually grew tired of him and he began looking for his next partner/victim. His next target happened to be Nikki. Him and some other random guy ended up sandwiching her for an entire song. The whole scene, and the look on her face, seriously made the whole thing fantastic. The only thing that could’ve made it better was a camera. God, it was great. Alright, I’m sure this whole thing wasn’t very funny or interesting to read, so I’ll just end it there, but I promise it was great in person.

after writing this, I realized that no one who reads this, other than Kate, has any idea of who or what i'm talking about, so it's probably not that intersting. o well, i guess this one is for me and her.
