The Forger

Somewhere around junior high or high school, Becca learned to write like my mother. She's actually quite good at it, and if she trys hard, I really can't tell the difference. I'm sure that skill came in handy for her during school. As for today, she uses it merely for her entertainment. Being that Becca loves to write, I periodically get letters from her where she pretends to be mom. Sadly enough, I fail to tell the difference. My mom is odd enough, as most of you know, that these letters legitimately seem like they could be from her. It isn't until later that Becca will finally admit to sending the letter. Now that I'm thinking back, I wonder how many letters she has sent that I didn't realize were really from her? Maybe my mom never really sends me any. Maybe it's always Becca. Actually, my mom really did send me a letter yesterday, but the saddest part is I immediately assumed it was from Becca again, until I finally decided that she wouldn't have been able to write about it.

Go Cardinals!! I'm sad I didn't make it anywhere tonight. But, I did make dinner and I think it surprised everyone that I can cook.

i never tried to have the same handwriting as mom i just ended up having it somehow. if u notice mom's handwriting also looks a lot like grandma's and mom has told me in the past that she has never tried to imitate gma's either. i guess it's one of those creepy perry things. if u end up looking like the person's younger clone, then you also write like them. and tell boring stories like them, etc. etc.

o and i have never sent u a letter under the pretense of being written by mom without eventually telling u that i wrote it- have some trust deborah my intentions are not to deceive u
