From Becca~
yes that's right I will one day be a teacher and yes, that may scare some of you. but i figured i should start with giving deborah's blog audience an education. first assignment: read "the imperfect enjoyment" by Rochester. it is apparently such a fantastic piece of literature that i have now covered it in not one, not two, but THREE classes at this university. the imagery is truly amazing. you will find a copy of the poem attached
*note that in the fourth line of the poem "melting through kindness, flaming in desire" that kindness means instinct. i looked this up on dictionary.com (the best reference you can have in the world) and apparently kindness used to suggest a person's natural state or instinct. now that should be something we all consider for a little while.
