Well, the three weeks of moving and packing have finally come to an end. I am officially moved into my new room and am fairly unpacked. It’s a weird feeling—closing one chapter, not yet sure of what the next is. As I moved my last box today, it finally hit me just how much I am going to miss living with Kate, and my old life in general. But, everything happens for a reason and I’m sure everything is for the best.

It is interesting living with five Taiwanese people. There are the obvious culture differences (and some not so obvious) that will probably take a little getting used to. I’m hoping I eventually learn how to play Chinese poker and pick up on a few choice words. I think the weirdest part of everything is simply living with five people in general. I feel as if I’m back in undergrad, where you never know who or what to expect back at home. At the time, I loved this lifestyle, but I think I’m past that phase.

I start my first day of work tomorrow and I’m actually a little bit nervous. I suppose that’s natural though. And, I’m sure everything will be fine. I’ll let everyone know how it goes.
