TJ has been canned

Well, TJ came back after her "vacation" and managed to make it several weeks w/o any incidents. However, she was officially fired yesterday. Since we weren't given any details, I convinced Luda to call her and get the scoop. Apparently she was let go b/c she spent too much money on alcohol at the annual meeting. She just couldn't understand why the big fuss - she's done it every other year, plus she knows other employees do too.vvOn her behalf, we all spent a lot of money on alcohol. In fact, my boss flipped out b/c a friend in my department (Sam) picked up the bar tab for all of us on the night that Rhonda took us to a dept. dinner and then tried to write it off as dinner. Obviously, we got Rhonda to sign-off on our bill though. However, with that being said, neither Sam, Kristie or I have ever shown-up to a company dinner drunk (not to mention wearing Hooters balloons) or wearing sunglasses inside at the meeting b/c you're so hung-over.

Well, I guess that is the end of one of my major sources of entertainment at work. Goodbye Tijuana, you will be missed.


To entertain myself in other ways, I've started playing a daily anagram game with this lady's window decorations. How many words/phrases can you come up with from: "Let it Snow!" and "Ho Ho Ho." I usually just use parts of the words. Apparently though someone got pretty pissed about the whole thing on Monday and accused Kristie of ruining her display...
