Interesting Weekend Had By All

So, I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night I played poker w/ everyone and then headed downtown. Poker was a blast b/c Brian and Josh got kinda drunk and were in rare form. And, I got along really well w/ both Andrea and Lyndsay, which was especially nice. The highlight of the night had to have been when dumb ass Nikki got her car towed, and we had to call her friends to come pick us up. I did prove my sales skills when I haggled the towers into a $100 fine as opposed to $150. Saturday night was ok. Dow came into town, which was nice, and the night was pretty laid back. That is until we went to the Alamo. There we ran into Sandy's Brian with whom Dow apparently got into a fight with in high school. And, of course the lovely john made an appearance and said some jack ass comments like he always does. (Dow- Sandy told me what he said yesterday. Of course they bothered me, but then again, John has said and done worse things, so what can you do). Anyways, we managed to stay out of any physical brawls and capped the night off w/ a little Steak N Shake. Sunday, Hillary and I went boating. Actually, Sandy and big Pun joined us for awhile, which was hysterical b/c Big Pun wore a life jacket the whole time since he is seriously afraid of the water. I also rode a jet ski and got thrown off 3 times, so I'm a little sore. The weekend ended with a phone call from Corey explaining the 90210 episode she had just lived through. Since she didn't give the details on her blog, I feel I shouldn't either. However, it was one of the best stories I have ever heard, and I really wish I had been a fly on the wall. However, I can promise you that the 90210 story is far from over, and I hope that I'm there for the next episode. Maybe it could be this weekend! Just kidding Core, I know you don't want another encounter.

by the way, my boss took the northwestern news very well. He congratulated me and it sounds like I will be working through the end of August. To be honest, I really hoped he would tell me that I had to quit this week so I could just be done. But, I guess this is better since I will need the money.
