Old Times

I had an awesome weekend. Friday night I went to Carbondale to bring Becca some more of her belongings. Corey and I ended up going out by ourselves and meeting up w/ Becca and some of Corey's friends at the bar. Corey's right, the night did remind me of old times. Nothing too crazy happened, but I did manage to pick up boy who has the potential of being a stalker. Lucky for me, I don't live anywhere near him. It will be interesting to see if he still hangs around, since Wegs disappeared after one of my last visits.

Saturday Corey and I met up w/ the boys in the Loop. Well, almost all of the boys; I guess Dan stayed with his new wife or something in Iowa. The night began with Brittany and Doug fighting over the City of Chicago. I honestly can't imagine how Doug gets so passionate about a city, but maybe that is b/c I have never really cared for any of the places I've lived. Anyways, the fight was short lived and Britt was nice enough to drive us out. I ended up getting my first real experience of the Landing. It was pretty fun. I don't have any great stories, but the whole night was fun and entertaining.

On a completely other note, I hate filling out financial aid. And, I hate that I'm going to be in debt forever thanks to school-- that was the realization of Saturday night. Also, I got to have Corey serve me wine Saturday. I have to admit, it was quite nice. I think it partially made up for all the times that she would come taunt me at the mall. Damn Old Navy. At least we got clothes out of the deal.

Becca- I'm really glad that you have Ashley to take care of you. I think I might really worry about you otherwise (this was after the 5th phone call from her today--- the last one involved her somehow getting locked out of her house at 9pm). FYI--- her new house is really creepy and old. I don't think I could live there, or at least not by myself.
