Happy Birthday to Kate!!!
Today's is Kate birthday so a bunch of people from home are coming up to help her celebrate. Well, everyone is hoping ot come up, but not everyone is for sure due to the weather. We're going to a tappas restraunt of dinner and then heading to some bar in Lincoln Park. I think we're goign ot try a new one, so hopefully it doesn't suck. We shall see. I'll fill everyone in later.
By the way, Doug and I have tried to get Dow to come to Chicago for many, many months now. Kate suggested he come up this weekend since it was her birthday. He rejected this idea because he said he had other plans. Tonight I found out these plans consisted of him travelling ot Cincinnatti. WTF. I'm glad to see that Sturdy and Scott are more important than Doug & I (I really do love you both, but still). Plus, Dow and Britt went there last semester too. Well, none-the-less, I hope you all have an awesome weekend. And, i hope Dow makes it up here b/c I'm going ot try and make it for Mardi Gras and i want Doug to come but he refuses unless Dow comes here first. Such a cute married couple they make.

In my own defense, it was Scotty's birthday and Layne is starting up school next week (which includes classes on Saturdays). As such, I was pretty much in a now or never situation and I had to do what I thought was right. I'm sorry if this has offended you.
Also, I did not go to Cincinatti "last semester" as you claimed. As you are aware, the real world has no semesters. Despite this, it had been exactly 30 weeks since I last went to Ohio to see Sturdy. That would have placed my last trip in June 2005, which really would have been 2 (two) semesters ago.
Anyway, I'm thinking about going to ISU this weekend. It would be awesome if you and/or Douglas would like to meet me up there.
Also, you need to convince Hackmann to go up to Chi-town with me sometime in the near future. I may be able to get a deal on a flight prior to March 01, 2006, so I may be up in the Chi sooner than you think....then again....maybe not.

i'm just messing with you. ISU? that could be a possibility, i'll have to talk to doug. Britt & Jess both said they refuse to come up here until it's warm, so i guess I will have to wait. the cold can suck, so i guess i can't blaim them. actually, st. patty's day weekend might be a fun time for u to try and make it up here. it's the beginnig of my spring break and i hear it's awesome in chicago.
