Worst Day of the Year?

Right now, my entire body hurts. I think I’m getting sick and am getting too old to party like I used to. And, as if I wasn’t already way behind in school, I didn’t do one bit of homework this weekend. I tried yesterday, but ended up passing out instead.

But this weekend was great. Kate’s birthday was a lot of fun Friday and it was nice to see everyone from home. Kate’s parents are awesome. They took us all to dinner at a Tappas restaurant and then ended up staying at the bar with us till 1. By the way, going in a group is definitely a good way to experience the restaurant because we were able to try so many different dishes. All in all, the night was pretty low key, but it ended with Kate’s new couch be christened, to which she wasn’t very happy about and who can blame her. Saturday I hung out with Corey and her friends pretty much the whole day. That night we managed to visit several bars that I had never been to before, so I got to broaden my horizon. Needless to say, we were all pretty drunk and several good stories came out of the night, which I suppose is no surprise of us two being out together. It was really nice to see her and I’m glad she came up. Plus, I think the city of Chicago found another fan, and she promised Andy & I that she would come up more often. Even though she was drunk, I think we should hold her to it.


Side Note: Erik & Zack are both ridiculously cheap and if you have 4 people paying $2 for a bus to travel 2 miles a cab would end up being the same price. Also, today is the worst day of the year according to some scientific study. (Read that one in the Red Eye)
