Well, I haven’t written a post in quite some time and it’s not as a result of my busy life. It’s really because I crashed my computer almost 2 weeks ago and I just now got the thing running right again. Yes, this was devastating for me considering I am addicted to my laptop. I almost cried. However, I have since pulled myself together and started the long process of adding everything back. By the way, I seriously hate talking to service people in India that can’t understand what the hell I’m saying.

So what have I been up too…

Last week was spring break for me and I spent it relaxing at home. It was pretty weird to see Springfield after the tornados went through. It was also slightly amusing to see our house, which suffered some damage even though we weren’t actually hit by the storm. Apparently when the power kicked back on it blew a fuse in our fridge and since no one was home the thing leaked all over the house for a week. The kitchen and living room are completely torn up now. I think my mom is actually kind of happy b/c now she can redo the kitchen like she has wanted since we moved in 15 years ago.

It was really nice to see everyone last week. Nikki and I had our typical night where we stay out till 3, even though we’re pretty much talking only to each other. I did get to meet one of her guys though, and I actually liked him. Last weekend I saw Jules in Columbia, MO. Columbia seems like it would be a pretty cool town. The weekend was pretty low key but we managed to watch a lot of Grey’s Anatomy and a live Comedy show. The drive from Columbia to Chicago absolutely sucked and I honestly considered skipping class on Monday just so I wouldn’t have to do it.

This week reminded me of why it’s great to be back in school. I went out with classmates on Tuesday and, to my surprise, I actually had a great time in Evanston. Wednesday I was incredibly hungover so I laid around all day and that night I saw V is for Vendetta, which was pretty good. Thursday I went to a birthday dinner and then met JG, Trisha, and Pete. Note to self: when two sisters (or at least these two) both tell you not to ask about something, you really shouldn’t ask, otherwise it could lead to a 15 min argument between them.
