The Parking Guy
So, this morning I finally went and renewed my parking stickers, which I have been trying to do for the past 2 weeks. In all honesty, the hours make it rather hard to do for the working man. Anyways, the man who helped me was rather rude. He began by saying that he would have to charge me the late fee. Fine, whatever. Then he asked if there was a reason I was late. I replied that “I just didn’t get around to it.” The conversation then turned into more of a lecture about why I hadn’t taken care of this already and that it was a waste of money to pay the late fee when I’ve had two weeks. Then I responded with that I work and their hours really aren’t convenient. He told me that I have had a year to plan this and that isn’t really a good excuse. Are you serious??? Who are you… my dad or something?? I mean, I’m mad enough at myself for not taking care of it, but whatever. Better now than in another two weeks when I get a parking ticket. All in all, it was kind of entertaining that this man took it so personal that I (along w/ the 30 other people in line at 8am) hadn’t taken care of it. I wonder if he lectured all of them too. By the way, in case I haven’t told everyone… I’m going to Asia for about 3 weeks at the end of August with school and then with some friends. Now it won’t be so random when I talk about it later.

hah who else did you randomly mention this to?
Well, I think I randomly told Britt, Dow, & Josh.
I will be visting Beijing, Shanghai, and Tokyo with my school, for about 2 weeks. And after that me and 4 friends will travel to Phuket, Thailand, which I imagine will be the most interesting part.
guess what i cooked for supper last nite: stuffed peppers
hah how funny. they were good too. i'd also like to say how thankful i am that the sibling rivalry between you and i stopped several years ago. i now have a new 22 year old brother who enjoys shaving his head and putting the hair on my toilet seat, holding door knob fighting contests with one person on each side of the door, etc. and i must say i don't really enjoy it. somehow though i cant stop myself from acting like a child.
